When it comes to digital replay, silence is golden. That lack of silence – the presence of residual noise – is what stands between file-replay and realizing the promise of non-physical media. At Telos we wanted streaming and file replay to match the musical qualities of physical media. Disappointed with the design and performance of commercially available systems with all too obvious design flaws, we set out to build our own, incorporating all of our power supply and grounding technology and expertise. We believe that the end result sets new standards in file replay – and adds the latest unit to our renowned Monster Series.
Users can specify the EMP Monster Music Server as a Roon Core or a Roon Ready end-point, with or without an internal DAC.
